Format Rarity
20%Older formats (dateless, suffix, prefix) are rarer and more valuable than current-style plates.
Length Exclusivity
18%Shorter plates are exponentially more rare. A 2-character plate is dramatically more valuable than a 7-character one.
Name Match
15%Does the plate spell or sound like a real UK first name? Checked against 800+ common names.
Number Quality
12%Single digits, repeating numbers, palindromes, and sequences all increase desirability.
Word Match
12%Does the plate spell a real word? Checked against 640+ desirable words across luxury, sports, tech, and more.
Letter Desirability
8%Some letters (S, X, B, R, M) are more sought after due to visual impact.
Pattern Quality
6%Visual patterns like palindromes, repeating characters, and sequences make plates memorable.
Leetspeak Decode
5%How well does the plate read when numbers are decoded as letters? BO55 = BOSS, T0M = TOM.
Initials Appeal
4%Common UK initial pairs (JB, AB, MS) add a small boost as they match many people's initials.
