Our Refund Policy
As a DVLA certified dealer we buy DVLA registrations on your behalf and handle the paperwork. Because a registration cannot be returned once the DVLA has processed it, what we can refund depends on how far we are in the process. This is the same policy quoted in our Terms and at checkout.
Your 14-Day Right to Cancel
You have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting the day after your order is placed. To cancel, email us with your order reference before we submit the application to the DVLA and we will refund you in full.
When the Right to Cancel Is Waived
At checkout you can ask us to start the DVLA purchase straight away. By ticking that box you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the DVLA application has been submitted. DVLA registrations cannot be returned, so no refund is possible after that point.
If We Cannot Secure the Plate
If we are unable to secure the registration for any reason (for example it is sold before we can buy it, or the DVLA rejects the application) you receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.
How to Request a Refund
To cancel or request a refund, email us at hello@monikr.co.uk with your order reference (MNK-XXXXX) and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within one business day.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
